Traveling to Prague

Prague is served by Vaclav Havel Airport (PRG). Airline connections exist between Prague and most of the European capitals and other major cities. Moreover, Prague is conveniently served with the connector airlines, such as Emirates, Qatar, Etihad, Korean Air or Turkish. The city centre can be easily reached from the Prague International Airport by means of public transportation. You just need to buy a single-journey ticket for 40 CZK in advance and take the trolley-bus 59 in direction to Nádraží Veleslavín metro station (last stop). The bus stops in front of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Ticket machines at the airport accept card payments. The trolley-bus 59 is frequent (every 8 min) and takes about 15 min to the metro station. Entire journey to the conference venue, metro station Dejvická, should take around 30 min. There is also a night bus serving the airport whole night.
You can also use a taxi from the airport. The price of a taxi ride to downtown Prague is around 750 CZK (30 €), but the taxi service is arranged via Uber Airport Taxis and prices may differ considerably. Note that there is still a danger of being extremely overcharged when using taxi in Prague, especially when hired of the street in touristic areas. Prague is conveniently served by ride hiring apps like Uber, Liftago, Bolt, etc.
